The digital age did not kill off black and white photography just as it was not killed off when colour photography came along. The striking images of photographers like Ansel Adams could not be more stunning were they in full colour. There are times in fact when colour is not the best medium to employ in an image. As a keen former darkroom worker I am still looking out for potential images of mine that can be more attractive in black and white. Digital has just made much of the old darkroom work easier. If you are interested in turning some of your pictures into black and white prints then this e-book may be of assistance and at just $2-99 it won’t break the bank.
How to convert colour images to black and white using Photoshop, how to use Photoshop’s duotone, processing a black and white image, simulate processes such as split toning, sepia toning, lith printing, and selenium toning.
